The
GRABEN Hotel is situated in the heart of Vienna, quietly located in the
quarter of antique shops, next to the pedestrian zone. A public
underground garage and the subway are nearby.
Due to the special
architecture every room has an individual style. All 46 rooms are
equipped with bath, shower, WC, dial system telephone, minbar, cable TV
and are mainly furnished in art nouveau.

our "Restaurant Altenberg" and italian specialities in the
"Trattoria Santo Stefano".
At the end of the 18th century
the house was known under the name of "Zum Goldenen Jägerhorn",
where the poet Franz Grillparzer was a regular guest. From 1913 to
1919 it was a favorite meeting-lace of writers such as Peter Altenberg,
Franz Kafka and Max Brod. In 1927 the house was purchased by the
Kremslehner family.
A
sweet souvenir is our home-made "Kaiser Franz Josef-cake",
prepared according to an old recipe of the imperial period.
