Bus 48 A from the Dr. Karl-Renner-Ring or 47 A from subway station Unter St. Veit. The Steinhof is the ‘Heil und Pflegeanstalt der Gemeinde Wien’ (health center of Vienna). The accessory church is an important example of the Austrian Jugendstil. Architect of the whole was Otto Wagner. The church can always be viewed from the outside. The monumental building is impressive because of its simplicity. The green cupola and the white marble plates of the forefront are very striking.

Inside, the Jugendstil character is even more obvious. Here you can admire the Austrian Jugendstil in its purest form.
