Public transport in Vienna is excellent and much the better alternative to the car. You’ll find few parking spaces and many clogged up streets. Use a 24 – or 72 hours card for respectively € 5 and € 12. Other tickets and cards are available at counters of Wiener Linien and at Trafiken (newsagents). A public transport map can be had at the abovementioned places as well as at hotels and tourist agencies. The maps show all public transport lines and links (trams, buses, underground and Stadtbahn). A very attractive offer is the Wien-Karte, which gives you unlimited access to all public transport for 3 whole days
